Come and start your summer early by gaining some summer sun without the crouds or the heat of the summer. March and May are often quoted as being the best times to sail in Greece, so if you can steal some time away, we’d love to welcome you, so what’s it like? The weather
The boatsWell the boats are the same, but the availability of the yacht you might like is a lot better; anything from 30’ to 50’. You get have the benefits of greater choice of yacht, cheaper charter prices, cheaper airfares, fewer boats on the water, especially north towards Athens, and no issues in space in ports or tavernas in popular spots. Yachts for couplesGenerally yachts up to 38’ are suitable for couples, with the smaller yachts having two cabins; a forepeak and rear cabin (which can work nicely as a storage and dressing room), and the larger yachts (35’ and up) having three cabins; his and hers storage and dressing room! But there is nothing stopping a couple chartering a larger boat, just remember a larger boat is heavier, with larger sails and sheets, and depending upon your experience, may benefit from having a larger crew.
