The chora on Sérifos above Órmos Livádhiou is often photographed, but none of the photographs really convey quite how much of an impressive sight it is. If you visit Livádhi you can moor on the town quay or simply anchor at the head of Órmos Livádhiou. If you want to visit the chora, which is definitely worth a wander for an hour or two, there’s a bus from Livádhi near the yacht quay that will take you to the top via a switch-back road with some stunning views. Alternatively, if you’re really energetic, there is a path. You get stunning views from the top and can even play; ‘spot the Venetian fort’ (Kástro) which has been extensively build-on over the years. Finding Nísos SérifosNísos Sérifos is on the western edge of Cyclades islands in the southern Aegean. You can find the entrance to Órmos Livádhiou at 37° 07’.50N, 024° 31’.59E (WGS84).
