Chartering a yacht on a bareboat basis is hiring a yacht of your choice with its standard equipment and sailing it with a crew of family or friends.

We provide:

Fully equipped  and insured* yachts, with all the required safety equipment, a good set of sails and engine, bed linen and blankets, and enough galley equipment to prepare basic meals.

Additional costs during the charter:

Fuel. You take the yacht with a full tank of fuel and you refill it at the base upon return.

Water. Whenever you refill (5 – 10 Euros per fill) in the ports on route.

Mooring fees in all the ports except at base.

Limitations:

The skipper and at least one of the crew must have experience in sailing and yacht handling. The skipper must be holder of a skipper’s qualification (e.g.. RYA Day Skipper or equivalent).

The yacht must be no further than 40 NM from base two days before the end of charter to ensure its timely return.

Technical Support:

The base staff provides advice and technical support free of charge, providing the yacht is within 50 NM of the base. Beyond this, technical assistance may be provided by either base staff or independent technicians (where available) at your cost. You may be requested to move the yacht to a better location in order for a problem to be solved.

You are required to report all problems with the yacht as soon as possible and get permission from base staff before making any repairs yourselves.
